Library Rules and Regulations
- Patrons must sign in upon entering the library.
- Patrons should check bags in at the front desk.
- Patrons are responsible for all personal items brought into the library.
- Book borrowing priviliges are restricted to full MEI members.
- Loans are for one month. Items may be renewed up to three times. Renewals may be made in person, by telephone or email.
- Books recalled must be returned within one week.
- Overdue books accrue late charges.
- Readers must take care of library materials and must not deface them in any way, including by highlighting, underlining, writing or drawing in them or by removing any part of them.
- Responsibility for ensuring books are returned or renewed on time is the borrower's.
- No food or beverages may be brought into the library.
- Cellular phones must be turned off or set to vibrate upon entering the library.
- Patrons may not use cellular phones while in the library.
