Turkish Beginner I
NOTE: This class is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 1 hour each. The course will end on October 30, 2020.

Turkish Beginner I is an introductory course for students who have not previously studied Modern Turkish (the language of radio, newspapers and television). The course aims to teach students to communicate in Turkish and at the same time develop a structural awareness of the Turkish language. In this course, students will be introduced to the basic characteristics of the Turkish language such as the sounds and the alphabet. The course also will cover greetings, introductions, nationalities, and countries, as well as occupations, and locations. At the end of this course, students will be able to greet and introduce themselves, and talk about themselves in simple -- verb to be -- sentences in Turkish.
