Turkish Beginner III

Limited seats available. The class will be held from 7:45 to 9:45 as opposed to the time stated below. 

Prerequisites: Turkish Beginner I and II.

Course Description: Turkish Beginner III is designed to enable students to easily navigate the Turkish language skills of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, oral expression and writing with proper grammar. At the end of the course, students will be expected to be able to speak the language with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary, as well as to participate in most informal or formal conversations on practical and social topics. The most important goal is to prepare students with a basic level of vocabulary, expressions, and phrases to be able to deal with everyday necessities. Lessons focus on activities, events that happened in the past, telling fairy tales, and talking about history. The students will be able to use complex sentences with “when; even though; because of”. By the end of this course, you will be able to hold conversations using practical vocabulary at a novice high level per the ACTFL scale.
