Arabic Advanced I (Conversation)

Prerequisites: Intro to ArabicBeginner Levels 123, and 4 and Intermediate Levels 12, and 3. Students who have just completed the Arabic Intermediate levels should enroll in this course.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with practice in speaking and listening. This class is designed for Intermediate High and Advanced Low students looking to improve pronunciation, speaking, communication, and listening skills. The course will help students increase their Arabic conversation skills through practice of expressing thoughts, feelings, and opinions regarding present activities, past experiences, and future plans. Particular emphasis will be placed on interacting with others through asking and answering questions about general information, as well as for the purpose of deepening/confirming comprehension in any social situation. This course will also focus on the development of strong pronunciation and listening skills.

No textbook is required for the course, additional materials will be supplied by the instructor.
